Tis the last rose of Summer,  夏日的最後一朵玫瑰，

   Left blooming alone;  獨自開放著；

All her lovely companions  其他的花兒

   Are faded and gone;  都枯萎了；

No flower of her kindred,  沒有同類的花朵，

   No rose-bud is nigh,  沒有和她相近的玫瑰花蕾，

To reflect back her blushes  能反映出她的紅暈

   Or give sigh for sigh!  或者散發出像她那樣的氣息！
