The  Look

Strephon kissed me in the spring,

      Robin in the fall,

But Colin only looked at me

      And never kissed at all.

 

Strephon's kiss was lost in jest,

      Robin's lost in play,

But the kiss in Colin's eyes

      Haunts me night and day.

青眼

斯泰豐吻我於春季，

  而羅賓是在秋天；

但科林隻是看著我，

  親吻全無半點。

 

春之吻迷失於嬉笑，

  秋之吻遊戲中玩掉；

但科林的青眼之吻啊，

  令我回味，日夜縈繞。
