【學個習語】step on somebody's toes

今天聽一個老美同事說了一個習語：step on somebody's toes 和大家分享。

就是別人本應負責的事情，我們最好不要介入（Do not step on his toes。）

step on somebody's toes:to say or do something which upsets someone, especially by becoming involved in something which is their responsibility 

eg. I'd like to make some changes to the working procedures, but I don't want to step on anyone's toes.
