Many employers in order to retain older employees who want to work but don't want to work full time, and don't need the income of full time job, are offering part-time options with health insurance coverage.

Say you work 50% the time, you still have health insurance (you pay a little more, less than 2 times the full time employee rate), and still enough income for daily expenses.
