A better approach is to say I (201411) am doing fine as all my tenants have managed to pay full rent in April. And keep the reply brief.

If, without being asked first, you volunteer to discuss some form of help,  the tenant will have high expectations that the landlord will offer some kind of financial assistance.

Wait until you are asked to help.
