A guy just got a letter from Hertz, charging him 33 GBP because he was pictured speeding at 46 in a 40 zone. It was a one-day rental of only GBP19, the fine from Police is GBP66, Hertz admin fee is GBP 33. There is no way Police know who was driving other than going by the license plate, back to the rental car company who then tracked down the offender.
