This would be our last full day in Jasper. The plan was to take it easy and just explore our own lake, the Pyramid Lake.

The weather was about 10 degrees lower than yesterday, and it's a bit overcast with rays of sun lights peeking through once in a while. It was perfect for a leisurely stroll along the lake.

As we walked out of our door, I couldn't help notice that the unique reddish hue of the peak around Lake Pyramid was more pronounced on the day.

We passed this truck in the parking lot. Congratulations to whoever the newly wed may be, and may they live happily ever after.

We walked along the lake and through a bridge to a lovely island, the Pyramid Island. Every spot on the island was a Kodak moment.

The kids had tons of fun playing in the water, announcing discoveries one after another. A tadpole, six bugs, a dragon fly ....

Wild roses (pink) and an unknown flower found on the island.

There was also a rock throwing contest which everyone including the grown ups participated :-).

After some snacking back at the room, we went boating on the lake.

Dinner was had at the Kimchi House in town. It was surprisingly fairly decent.

Good night.
