I like Rick's style, and his guide books. It's thin, portable, with all the essential info you need. I like how he ranks each site; it gives me some guideline when I have limited time in one place.

I used his book to find a cute little apartment in Cinque Terre, wondering why the local guy didn't like him. Is that because of Rick's show, so Cinque Terre is not a hidden secret anymore?
