The wedding scene of Grand Hotel Budapest was filmed at the Bast

If you are fan of the movie like me, there are also a few more places in and around Dresden that appear in the movie: the zwinger is the entrance of the museum where the laywer got killed, the Pfunds creamery the cake shop Mendles. Unfortunately the deparment store in nearby Gorlits as the hotel lobby was closed for renovation when we visited in the summer three years ago. We also went to see the stag in Kalory Vary but it was very small and a bit disspointing.
