Rodney my joy

such a joy to have him around. I named him Rodney after I found him on a sidewalk at my work parking lot. he was about two weeks old, not knowing how to chew beef jerkie (I doubt he will ever like it).
it’s learning and joy for me and family and he is now two years old, playing well w the dog, ample spots for his naps and sleeping pads. i never thought i could love a cat.

he is truly like a family member, I would look for him if he is out of my site. love him the best when he needs food, a joy to have him “supervise” me while I am fixing something or even washing dishes. even cook his meal was fun (that I got the recipe of frozen salmon, veggie and rice, no oil, salt just cook 10-15 minutes until all mix well and pasty); what a reward to see him indulge in the meal I cook; after he refused to eat his favorite can food for almost his entire life.

he never messes his pee and poop, would refuse to use while I was away for days and family didn’t clean his litter box. I do have to clean up his box daily.

he has his stubborn routine, sleeps a lot, and love to play self made toys, a weee box, chopstick, tiny bottle cover that rolls, even a plastic wrapping. just bought a laser pointer, imaging he is going to fly to the light.

I learned how to bathe him though we do it infrequently. he rarely needs groom as he cleans himself every once when he has nothing to do or cleaning is more important than play. his fur is short and shed very little.

what a joy to have him around. my day goes by happier.

have him neutralized is probably the best thing I did to him. very mild and not easy to get mad, only when I pretend to take away his fluffy baby.

I can probably start to post his photos and videos for sharing my joy.

thanks for reading, my rather plain style.  Just uploaded videos, here is one: .https://youtube.com/shorts/r6mLj5gC1ps?si=_2qb1cL1YCsidpSV/shorts/r6mLj5gC1ps?si=_2qb1cL1YCsidpSV

Funny I got 3.2k views for the videos of Rodney, seems people love their pets than the human partner, I kind agree and get it (sadly)
