The main purpose of the post is to give you an idea how I understand "imitation". In my opinion, imitation must be based on sentences, not paragraphs. If you listen to a whole paragraph and then start to imitate, I would say it's not "imitating", but "recalling".
In the first stage of improving your intonation, you must do your best to imitate the exact pitches, stresses, pauses, etc. Simply be a parrot.
This recording isn't a perfect one because I only recorded it twice. Personally I don't recommend recording more than five times for that's a waste of time. If you want others to help you improve your intonation other than just to show off, you don't have to give your perfection.
Still, Xiaoqian and other high hands please generously give me advice on my imitation. Thanks a lot.
