not to put words in my mouth. I've never ever claimed Bev is qualified as a starting PG on ANY NBA team, not to mention Rockets. I always said he would be a perfect guy to come off the bench and spark some energy/toughness and defense.

Blaming front office, coach, team mates, the sky, or Houston weather all you want to, Jeremy's inconsistency, and lacking of capability to co-exist with star players, LOST him the starting job. 

There is NEVER a perfect situation for any human being, Jesus Himself included, and one has to overcome hardship and difficulty to succeed. 25-million and a starting job, in my humble opinion, is a nearly perfect start situation for Jeremy, and well-earned by his dedication and fighting spirit. As flawed as James is, he was/is a much better player than Lin, and Bev complemented Harden much better than Lin could.  Lin's defense, ability to play off the ball, and consistency, or lacking thereof, at that time, making Bev, the band-aid solution more beneficial. 

When I watch game and talk about game, I usually talk about FEASIBILITY, not about wishful thinking or perceived "fairness".

Now, you can go ahead to curse Les, DM, JH, or the sky, or Houston, all you want to, and you are more than welcome to whine about injustice or discrimination. The game is still going to be played on court, and decisions will still be made by flawed and biased people, from PRAGMATIC point of view.
