As comparism between Canon 100-400 and Sigma 150-500, my photographer friend used to use the Sigma, focusing is very slow, and for rapidly moving subject, like birds, Sigma is useless, most photo were out of focus. Canon 100-400 focus is very fast and precise, optical quality is excellent.
