律師哪裏有說你付的flat fee並不保證他必須把列出的事完成？

“The intent of this agreement is that there will be a one time engagement fee to cover the drafting of the above referenced documents after consultations with the client.”
隻有在律師認為超出了原先列出的事情，或你的事情becomes a contested matter，retainer fee才會有變化。

俺的理解，這個retainer fee是你的downpayment，如果事情沒有變化，就是你最終的費用。如果有變化，最後的費用要麽是這個retainer fee + 額外費用，或是新的retainer fee when it becomes contested matter.
