Rice University 和 Baylor College of Medicine 合並是win-win

這幾天紫檀討論大米，

Rice University 和 Baylor College of Medicine 合並是win-win, 兩個大學在隔壁。Baylor College of Medicine 在Texas Medical Center (全世界最大醫療中心） 的中心地帶。 可惜了，最後董事會投票沒過。 Baylor 醫學院每年拿到NIH許多grant. 對於Rice是很大提升。  聽說2008年金融危機時，baylor 醫學院因為投資建醫院，財政緊，所以Rice擔心會影響自己的財務。 真是目光短淺。

Baylor College of Medicine (2018年 US news research 排名17），是德州最好的醫學院。 成立於1900年。

最近好像Baylor 停辦了和大米的本醫（BS-MD）連讀。
