tough interview questions 請較大家怎樣回答會比較合適?

昨天去麵試一個Director的職位(in the government-Canada)，被問到以下幾個問題，我覺得自己答得非常非常不好，請較大家怎樣回答會比較合適。這是我第一次去麵試director level 職位，所以這次就當練兵了，希望下次能夠麵試成功！

Question 1: I have opened this position for competition last year, but all the candidates failed the exam, so that competition has been cancelled. One of the senior analysts (his name is Paul) has been acting on this position since then. He has been on that position for almost 1 year now. And thus he has obtained a lot of hands-on experience on this position. If you are selected as the director, how are you going to handle the relationship with Paul?

Question 2: One of the employees in the team is underperforming and not participating in team initiatives. How are you going to approach this employee and address this situation?
