There is a box called "corrected W2", you won't know when it will be updated.

 

On the other hand, maybe that $3,600 was listed somewhere else already. It is too hard to not list if your company CFO is being audited.

 

Think about taking chances, you can write down $36K and try your luck: its chance should be no larger than your 3.6K.
