These funds are usually very thinly traded and are close-end, I thought most people (including myself) just buy and hold them for their high yields and tax benefits. The recent price decline came as a big surprise, why suddenly so many shareholders change mind and want to dump them? Shouldn't they be some safe heaven in a tumultuous market?
