關於兩種Marketable Securitues Bonds 的區別是什麽？

  1. Bond –long term – fixed principal securities of more than 10 years
  2. Tips notes/ bond medium or long term Treasury inflation protected securities of 5 to 30 years.

這兩種從 TreasuryDirect看進去， 1）有 19年和30 年兩種，2)第二種隻有 5年和9年10個月

但是1） 怎麽叫做 fixed principal？ 它裏麵並沒有限定買本金是固定的呀。2） 怎麽叫做 “ inflation protected securities.  既然是存期滿一年有就可以 Redeem or sell. 那麽就買時間長的30年好了是吧？

反正可以提前拿。慢來， 裏麵還有什麽規定沒弄清嗎？
