What is this "company"? This sounds like fraud

Are they representing Angry Bird? They have no standing to sue you, if they are not damaged by your sale. Let's say A hit B, but C sues A to recover damage suffered by B, the court would say C has no standing because C didn't suffer injury.

If the company actually represent Angry Bird, there are so many other defenses instead of paying $1500. If they sue you, just show up in court and tell your story, no judge nor jury would allow them $1500 damage.
