-You made a mistake not to add your spouse' name in I-824 for the following to join. So, only your kid will be informed for the visa application. You may contacted USCIS whether they have forwarded the approved I-824 to National Visa Center (NVC). If yes, you can contact NVC for the status. NVC will contact you first, not your dependents.

You need to file another I-824 for your spouse or your spouse comes to US to file I-485.
