我們家三人收到了移民局發的I-797C (08/05/20 發的）說 This is to notify you that your application residece has been approved. 等於是我們的綠卡批了。我們去年就interview 了， 隻是當時排期沒current.

但是， 我老公和我兒子08/11/20 又收到一封I-797C， 說to process your application, petition, or request, USCIS must capture your biometrics", 我們在幾個月以前申請了renew EAD卡， 這個打指紋是不是renew EAD的要求？

-Is this I-797C an appointment notice for biometrics? If yes, just go to do it.

那我們綠卡都批了，是不是就不需要去打指紋了呢？

-Sometimes you need to do the biometrics even if your I-485 is approved.

如不去， 是不是要打個電話？奇怪的是我這個主申請人沒收到要打指紋的信。 更奇怪的是批綠卡和renew EAD 互不關聯的嗎？懇請八老師答疑。
