請問各位老師和有經驗的人：父母多年前申請ITIN成功，最近收到信說ITIN即將過期，請問如果renew的話，是不是需要他們現在在美國？

如果不需要現在本人在美國，是否需要他們在過去的一年裏有進入美國？謝謝
-If they come to US and stay in US for > 6 months again, they can renew it.
