回複：請教各位老師: 兒子持加拿大護照，在美工作結束，想在我們這住一陣，是否要換簽證

兒子在美國大學畢業後，找了個contract工作，用的是TN簽證，簽證是今年12月底到期，而他的contract工作下個月就結束了。若他想和我們在美國住一陣（我們有綠卡），想知道
 

1. 他需要立即去邊境取消TN簽證嗎?
-If his employer ask USCIS to cancel the TN, then he has to go to the US-Canada border to get the B2 (use his passport to enter US) to come back. Otherwise, he can stay with you for a while. Because his TN I-94 does not expire yet, he will be fine  to stay with you unless he is arrested by a police such as car accident getting police involved. Of course, for the 100% safe, he may go to the border and use his passport to reenter US.
 

2. 他需要立即申請探親簽證嗎？
 

3. 是否可以就這樣先住下，過一陣再去邊境辦探親簽證？
