At least that is how a lot of people felt, also,

it happen on the same year as Ronald Reagan took over the White House.  You know how the wheel turned between the Soviet Union and the US during Ronald Reagan's presidency!  The part that  I respect the most is that it was done by people who really wanted to do it, not by pumping a lot of money in by the government.
