請問8老師一個關於H1B Transfer 的問題

我的舊學校faculty spring contract ends at May 7. 我是夏天六月份剛交的辭職信， 並且我夏天還有一個小項目直到6月份，學校還幫我把benefits 交到6月30日。但是由於我合同的終止日期是May 7, 我的 last working day （last employment day）仍然是 May 7 嗎？

現在的情況是，新的employer 提交 transfer for me 在 May 7 之後 in June. 我是不是使用了grace period?

還有一個小問題呀。Does the H-1B transfer have to be approved before I work? Is it because the H1B transfer was submitted during the grace period?

8老師，關於在grace period 中提交H1B transfer 能不能用notice 工作，好像有很多不同的解釋，您能麻煩給解釋一下嗎？非常謝謝
