Currently I-539 application takes 2.5 to 3 months for approval in USCIS California Service Center, but it may take about 10 months in USCIS Vermont Service Center base don this link:
https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/processTimesDisplayInit.do

So, it depends on where your application is filed based on your current living location.
