You have wrong idea about deadlines, 6 months, 1 year etc.  It is not important.  The legal determination is "whether she has intention to permanently reside in US.".   This is why I am not going to answer your pointless question anymore.  You need a immigration lawyer explain the law to you.  

If she loses her green card, you can sponsor her.  But she still has to answer the question why she has intention to permanently reside in US.  What changed for her since her last green card abandonment.
