worker's compesation,Agreement Pursuant to Sec32 of the WC law

I had worker injury two years ago and can't fully recovered. Today, I got a letter form the carrier insurance asking me to sign Agreement Pursuant to Sec32 of the WC law.I don't know if I sign the agreement and take the money to settle down the case will give trouble in the future, including green card application, social security benefits and others.I care most is the green card application since my two sons can't go back to China( They can hardly speak Chinese).Thanks!
