請教8老師及各位：父母綠卡申請的I-131問題

父母綠卡申請同一個信封2018年2月中旬寄出，5月中旬收到補充材料的通知。父母需要補充健康檢查。補充材料父母又是同一個信封五月底寄出。父親綠卡7月初寄到，母親的綠卡至今仍無回音。

請教8老師及各位：

1. 後來打電話查詢母親綠卡狀態不更新的原因，回複是“we have placed your case on a processing hold because the required security checks remain pending. until we receive the results of these security checks, we cannot move forward with your case.”請問這種情況是否還在正常的程序範圍內？

2. 是否有類似案例，綠卡背景調查還需要多久才能完成？

3. 這樣的情況，申請ap回國等綠卡會有風險嗎？
