敬愛的8老師好！我2020年給我國內的弟弟辦的親屬移民（F4 category）。I-130在2022年批準。看最新的visa  bulletin, 排期到了2007年。我母親最近考過了公民，所以考慮用母子關係也給我弟弟申請（F3），排期是2011年。下麵是問題 ---謝謝您！

 

1. 我弟弟可以有兩個申請同時進行嗎？

-Yes.

 

2. 您覺得這樣可以加快4年嗎？

-Hard to say because your mother's I-130 petition is filed nearly five years later after your I-130 petition, but just try and not hurt you anyting except the I-130 filing fee.

 

3. 如果我母親遞交申請，怎樣能讓移民局 保留原來的優先日期 （retain priority date）？還是不可以？

-Your I-130 priority date cannot be used as your mother's I-130 priority date because the petitioners (you and your mother) are different though the beneficiary is the same, i.e., the two I-130 peititons are based on two different 排期 of the two categoies.
