我在想是不是應該讓幫你寫推薦信的人把聯係電話寫在推薦信中，
-That is common sense in the letter in US.

聽說移民局可能會給推薦人打電話。

或者是問對方要一份簡曆。
-Had better provide it if the reference does not introduce himself/herself in the beginning of the recommendation letter.
