It seems you filed your I-485 based on your EB1B I-140 (i.e. you indicated your I-140 case# in the Form I-485 and provided the copy of the EB1B I-140 approval notice), right? If so, you do not need to do anything and just wait. USCIS normally will not be confused. You may call USCIS for your I-485 case status regularly, not ocncern the I-140.
