我先生的EAD 已經交了好幾個月了，也有receipt number，他的TN 到今年4月就過期了，請問，EAD 的180天extension可以用在他目前的狀況嗎？

-No. The 180-day rule only applies to the certian kind of EAD renewal applications, not to the new EAD application.

如果不能，他該怎麽辦？

-He has to stop working after the TN I-94 expires until the EAD application is approved.
