Your divorce will be valid and recognized everywhere in the world.  Under a policy known as “comity” countries recognize the judicial rulings of other countries. With the Caribbean divorce, you will also receive a certification from the US Embassy for acceptance in the US, and abroad. In certain cases with a Mexican Divorce or Annulment, it may be necessary to also obtain and Apostille (see divorce information) as further certification of validity.
