HP Officejet 6500A Plus all-in-one-printer

This can scan, but could not find out what kind of file format it scans into.  On HP websute, 8500A has description says file formats is PDF, JEPG, ect.  But no info on 6500A.  Anyone has any ideas?  Thanks.
