高中生選課 當TA

小孩在選11年級的課，問了學校的counselor ,counselor 建議小孩do a TA (teaching assistant) period, 覺得小孩的選課有點重。counselor 還告訴小孩TA period is not weighted in the GPA. 從來沒聽過高中生可以做 TA，我猜想可能就是幫助高中的老師，請問大家有什麽利和弊。大家的孩子們有在高中時選 TA 嗎？謝謝大家！
