mammogram and ultrasound result
Hi:
I am 45. I did my first mammogram last month. The report said "right breast 5 mm group of punctate calcifications in the subareolar region. "
I did ultrasound last week, and it confirmed the result. Nurse read the report to me. I remember she said "5 tiny calcifications and BI-RADS 4".
I scheduled biopsy Dec 23.
What would I have to go through, if it is cancerous? I guess since they are tiny, it is still in very beginning.
I am a single mother with two younger children. I have no relatives here. One of my children is very sick and needs my support life long. I could not afford to be sick myself.
Thank you for your help,
