Is Boston common/Theater District near the downtown you mentioned where they have museums for kids?  How about Cambridge West-Harvard? The hotel has shuttles to go to MIT and I assume some major subway stations.  Is the second one very far from downtown?  Which would you pick?  Thanks.  I did some research on our blog and found the website to help bidding, I'll see if I can get a hotel at a good hotel price. but don't know about the area. Could you look at the list and tell me which area is better? Also, I can still cancel my tickets and go to Orlando today if you think it's too cold and rainy. We live in sunny souther California. My kids might be scared by the cold weather and choose not to attend MIT later(that will be my fault!!!)  Thanks a lot
