what a surprise to rent a truck to work on building project! It’s a 2024 ram 2500, new smell, quiet cabin, very smooth ride. I was planning to haul a 20 ft long steel pole, decided to postpone to better prepare trailer rental. The truck drove nicely in the winding mountain road, and no trouble climbing up hill w 4wd at the job site.
The best part is $26 per day, I paid $93 for the rental, gas was about $120. What a bargain for three day renting a 3/4 ton truck, and get some workout under the sun.

miss my ford truck, on the other hand, renting seems effective in reducing repair and maintenance cost, above all, current residence won’t have space to park safely, I bet thieves will break in like they did to the truck in no time.
