Thanks! I think Europeans are better educated and they are

"forced" to deal with people all over the world, like it or not:)) and Southamericans for the most part deal with the people from the same continent or if they go abroad to study and do business, they go to Spain.

I was surprised too to find out even staff at the airport don't speak English, well, maybe we take it for granted that everybody should speak English:))
