《Miko》：希望每隻汪星人都有個好歸宿（英文歌）
萬聖節那天，許多人都加入“百鬼夜行”的隊伍去要麽去討糖，要麽去參加派對了。我卻和好友兼同事去唐人街的Animal Shelter領養狗狗。她說她第一眼看到小狗的時候覺得他特別惹人憐愛，而且似乎沒什麽人想要領養他。正好我另一個同事在這家shelter兼職，在同事領著朋友一次短暫和狗狗親密接觸後，她果斷決定要把他帶回家。
正式領養那天，我堅持要和她一起去，果不其然，小家夥精力特別旺盛，我倆費了好大勁才把他抱進狗狗包裏。朋友給他取了個名字叫Miko['mi:kou]，因為狗狗的毛色讓她想到兒時自己最喜歡的一個冰激淋牌子（她是法國人）。
這兩年朋友經曆了很多。先是診斷出了一種罕見、且難治愈的肺部疾病，健康受到了極大的影響，甚至在家調養了將近一個學年，然後心愛的幾隻寵物紛紛因為年老離世了。遇見Miko又讓她重新找到了生活中的亮光和溫暖。本來想馬上給她寫首歌，但最近事多擱置了，這兩天又碰上家長會，周末感覺超級累，在家偷懶躺平了兩天，終於在臨睡前寫了這首歌。
