Even if that asymptomatic transmission is confirmed, Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, stressed that asymptomatic transmission is not health officials' primary concern.
"In all the history of respiratory viruses, asymptomatic transmission has never been the driver of outbreaks," Fauci said. "An epidemic is not driven by asymptomatic carriers."
這個病毒前所未有，在潛伏期就具有很強的傳染力，美國人，其實西方都是如此，不相信，所以Facuci才有上麵的說法。由於中國人普遍戴口罩，這個問題不顯得那麽嚴重，但在西方尤其是美國就不一樣了。大家都不戴口罩，可說是對病毒不設防，暢通無阻。所以西方，特別是美國才把問題弄得這麽嚴重。Dr. Deborah Birx 抱怨中國沒把病毒的嚴重性告訴外界。中國，乃至東亞，普遍戴口罩，問題當然不是特別嚴重，那裏也沒經曆過普遍不戴口罩，當然不知道問題能夠有多嚴重。美國及其西方不相信中國人說的，對無症狀傳染不重視，也不認為會是個問題。在4月3日以前都是告訴民眾不要戴口罩，普通口罩擋不住病毒，如果不會戴或戴的不正確，it will do more harm than good。 當時根本沒有認識到戴口罩的重要性，根本不是口罩不夠的原因。4月3日CDC建議民眾戴口罩時就說買不到口罩可以自己做，用紗巾蒙住口鼻都可以，這也說明不是口罩不夠的問題。
所以在這次抗疫中，美國公共衛生間其中當然包括Dr. Fauci & Dr. Birx 是不及格的，這還是事先中國人告訴他們的情況下。
After FLOYD died and BLM started, almost no discussion on covid-19 from anyone. Now BLM and so-called protest is slowly fading, covid-19 suddenly becomes the hot topid once again. So interesting is not it?
when BLM is on its peak, where are our expert? should not they warn the ppls on the street for the danger of further spreading covid? when kids throw the covid party, where are our experts?
We American do not need to follow the president if he/she was wrong. Rather than blaming from left to right, where are the common sense.
