Mamdani actually is a little Trump. He emulates or coincides with Trump in political maneuvers. They employ the same election strategy. They both exploit stupidity and ignorance in reliance on delusions.
Similar to Trump, most of Mamdani's policies are very exciting to his supporters, but may turn out to be too radical and infeasible, and hence will encounter vehement resistances. Again like Trump, many of his policies will be challenged in courtrooms and consume a lot of judicial resources. However, ironically, the vast triumph of Mamdani manifests an intense repudiation of Trump.

Nevertheless, Mamdani differs fundamentally from Trump. Besides their disparity in political spectrum - one on extreme left and the other extreme right, Mamdani poses far less menace to New York than Trump does to America and the world. At most, Mamdani might inflict economical damage to New York, resulting in some sort of financial impasse. In contrast, Trump is inflicting and will inflict more fatal, full-fledge damage on Uncle Sam and the whole world, in particular the American cultural and political values. He is savagely breaking the spine of America, exactly like what Chairman Mao did to China during 1956-1976.
