憲法第22修正案：
Section 1
No person shall be elected to the office of the President more than twice, and no person who has held the office of President, or acted as President, for more than two years of a term to which some other person was elected President shall be elected to the office of the President more than once. ......
任何人不得被選為總統職位超過兩次，且任何人如果曾經擔任總統職務或作為總統履行職務超過兩年，且該任期原本是由其他人當選為總統的，該人不得再被選為總統超過一次。......
根據第22修正案，川普可以 2028 年可以作為下一屆共和黨副總統候選人參選。當選之後總統再找個借口辭職，於是川普又可以成為總統。因為這次他不是“當選”的（elected to the office of the President），而是替補上去的。

Ways to Amend the Constitution
Under Article V of the Constitution, there are two ways to propose and ratify amendments to the Constitution. To propose amendments, two-thirds of both houses of Congress can vote to propose an amendment, or two-thirds of the state legislatures can ask Congress to call a national convention to propose amendments. To ratify amendments, three-fourths of the state legislatures must approve them, or ratifying conventions in three-fourths of the states must approve them. 需要2/3的國家參眾兩院通過或者2/3各州的參眾兩院通過才能提案進行修憲。需要3/4的州參眾兩院通過或者3/4州民眾投票通過才能通過修憲提案。你以為是習包子，隻要人大橡皮圖章通過就能修憲啊。
