The root of the political polarization problem is that the state legislatures are in charge of congressional redistricting. This creates safe seats for each party. So members of congress only need to worry about someone more extreme to defeat him/her in the primaries. This makes politicians only to cater the extreme wings of the population.

Anyone with half a brain who lived in the US for more than a few years should know this.

驢就是驢，再辯還是驢。

某些人的思想是出問題了，已經無法去運用邏輯和事實進行思考，隻知道用“左”或“右”評價事物。導致這一現象原因很多：其一，群體利益嚴重分化，導致各自觀點迥異、無法彌合；其二，某些人受教育程度低或被洗腦，無法客觀看待事實或進行critical thinking；其三，有些人想渾水摸魚、利用這一分化。

很多美國的專業人士都可以做到，立場觀點不同，依舊可以友好合作。討論時，針對觀點，不是人。華人做的不好，意見不一致就搞個人攻擊。

看了CBS這檔節目，小布什下台後閑著沒事，辦了一個自己的畫室，他的人物肖像畫得蠻好的。

正常，一邊支持民主黨，一邊支持共和黨。
