8月29日晚，第13屆華表獎頒獎典禮在北京展覽館劇場舉行，《集結號》、《梅蘭芳》等十部影片並列獲得優秀影片獎，優秀導演、優秀男、女主角均頒出雙黃蛋。其中陳凱歌與馮小剛同獲優秀導演獎；張涵予與果靜林獲優秀男演員獎；章子怡與範誌博則分享了優秀女演員獎。

最大的贏家當屬《梅蘭芳》，該片以5項提名全部獲獎的成績，小勝獲得4項大獎的《集結號》。

出席頒獎典禮明星可謂史無前例，上百名明星如約出席。《讓子彈飛》、《唐山大地震》、《孔子》、《大兵小將》、《風聲》的全體主創均如約而至。在頒獎禮上，張藝謀給吳宇森頒獎；周潤發為舒淇頒獎；葛優、周星馳為舒淇開獎；王家衛、徐靜蕾為最佳導演獎開獎等精彩瞬間讓影迷大呼過癮。
