Every U.S. president likes to end his State of Union Address to the Congress with a cliché: The Union is strong, but it can be stronger! No, that is not true. The Union is not strong. It is broken. Almost.
The U.S. has always been a country with diverse people with even more diverse opinions. It is healthy and normal. That is what makes this country strong. That is what makes the Union strong. Tide has turned, The Union is what it used to be no longer.
Cracks on the wall of the Union started during the Obama Administration. Obama had the strongest mandate in modern history to make changes for the better in this country we all love. Instead, he implemented policies that divided the country. He then implemented more policies to further divide this country. Many people longing for a real change supported Obama feverishly in the 2008 presidential election. Many of his supporters were hugely disappointed by his administration. The pendulum swung to the left further and further in the Obama years. The damage done to this country by Obama is irremediable.
Then out of thin air came Trump. Trump’s entry into the 2016 election changed the political landscape completely, but not for the better. Trump is a not-so-successful businessman and pathological liar. We can all agree that every politician is a liar, but there has been no bigger liar than Trump in modern history. Maybe ever. Trump behaved like a petty child who was late to class in front of Putin. His press conference in Helsinki after meeting with Putin is a diplomatic disgrace matched by none. The national debt increased by a whopping 8 trillion on this watch. This is a debt that our children and grandchildren will never be able to re-pay. The American people rejected Trump in the 2020 election for a senile Biden. The narcissist Trump just could not handle the loss and became the biggest crying baby that nobody has ever seen. Trump dog-whistled his supporters to Washington D.C. on January 6th, 2021. A riot ensued. We all watched on TV what happened on the Capitol on that black day. The damage done to this country by Trump and his MAGA followers is irremediable.
We do not need a leftist politician like Harris who will surely nudge the country further to the left. Nor do we need a crying baby like Trump who cares about nobody but himself. The U.S. needs a politician who can at least sometimes tell a little truth. The U.S. needs a Democrat who can win in the red states, or a Republican who can win in blue states. We don't want a Harris. We don't want a Trump.
I am not a Christian, but I still pray to God. Dear God, please make Harris a loser in the general election. Please make Trump a loser in the general election. Please save the United States of America. Amen!
