A few days ago， Yingying wrote several poems to express the feelings of her missing to her hometown and relatives, especially the Seven-character poetry [Missing relatives during the festival] which she wrote on the Dragon Boat Festival . I feel the same way. I really like this poem. Now I sing it with the tune of Chen Rui’s song [ Yellow Crane Tower] 。 I also followed her and wrote a Seven-character poetry when I stood on the beach of the Lake of Ontario on the Canada Day （July 1, 2021) as following:
晴雲岸柳拂乾坤，我縱心潮與浪奔。
昨夢依稀飛故裏，朝來前後是多村。
半生行旅傷離緒，幾度晨曦照淚痕。
何日疫情休反複，歸遊探母慰親恩。

思親客裏吟端午，綠艾五黃縈別情。
膝下承恩無及返，眉間離緒每因生。
閑書應有平生誌，二胡似聞半世明。

五黃，江南的傳統裏，端午中午要吃五黃：黃鱔燒肉、涼拌黃瓜、黃魚、鹹鴨蛋黃、喝雄黃酒。

家父生日在端午前後，遊子在外，每念於此，更添鄉愁。

讀書二胡，皆為父親愛好，一生誌向，半世清明。
During the Dragon Boat festive, I miss my beloved parents so much, as I live abroad far from them. In my childhood, my parents always prepared traditional JiangNan style food for the festival, such as roasted pork with eels, cold cucumber, yellow fish, salted duck egg yolk, and realgar wine. Green wormwood and traditional foods make me feel homesick. My father's birthday is around the festival, but I could not go home to reunite with him. Whenever I think about it, I feel a bit down. My father is an upright person, and has a passion for life. His hobbies are reading and playing erhu. When I look up at the stars in the sky, I think of my father. The stars accompany me to travel abroad. Although the two countries we live in are far apart, my parents and I may still share the same enchanting startlight.
