做回自己的挨踢 (IT)

不管你是不是做IT(挨踢）的，你都離不開挨踢。我和挨踢打交道最多的就是找他們幫我解決電腦問題，好在我們的挨踢們很高效，不管在什麽時候，隻要一打電話就有人幫忙解決問題。可是前幾天出差卻出現一種情況，到了旅館裏電腦接不上WiFi，當時周末一時沒能聯係上他們，隻能學著做回自己的挨踢了。

嚴格地說WiFi是連上去了，隻是那個讓輸入密碼的網頁不自動跳出，無法輸入密碼，就進不去，連上了WiFi也沒有用，想想看這個時候，不說是公事，就是進不了文學城也讓你急死，習慣了WiFi後，都不知道那些年沒有WiFi的日子是怎麽過的。

好在當時手機可以上網，馬上請穀歌幫忙，輸入“laptop cannot connect to hotel WiFi， sign in page doesn't appear”在眾多的答案中找到了一條Reddit上的答案，下麵是他的答案，英文一看雖然有些語法錯誤，但還很地道，而且看上去和我遇到的問題差不多。雖然寫的很清楚，但對於平時不挨踢的理工男同學，還是很深奧的，文史男女就更不用說了。沒辦法，隻好一步一步地跟著弄。

"I've had this issue periodically on various computers and my easy fix it to manually enter the Wifi's IPv4 Default Gateway into your browser (Router's IP).
Typically what happens is you connect to the Wifi router but the page to accept the Wifi terms never appears. You have internet connect but no access to anything because you haven't accepted their terms of service.

To fix this just right click on your network icon in the tray and go to Open Network and sharing center. Click the Connection: (name of the wifi router. This will bring up the wi-fi status. Click Details, and look for the IPv4 Default Gateway. This will look something like: 192.xxx.x.x. Copy that number and type it into your browser. This will typically take you to or redirect you to the wifi's terms and conditions page.

This has worked for me at hotels, Starbucks and Barnes and Noble wifi's when I couldn't get the log in to show.

FYI the IP address that is assigned to your computer from the Wifi router will be found next to IPv4 address."

首先找到那個"network icon", 就是電腦的右下角的那個坡狀的從矮到高的幾道豎杠，將鼠標對準它，按右鍵。這個時候應該可以看見“Network and sharing center”把這個打開，就可以在Internet下麵看到這家hotel的Wifi，把這個打開，就可以看見“wireless network connection status”，在這個裏麵找“details”。把“details打開就可以看見properties，裏麵都是很重要的隻有挨踢們才懂的參數，其中有一項叫IPv4 Default Gateway：181.232.16 (這個可能像電話號碼一樣，大概是這個WiFi給你電腦的所特有的IP東西，是八位數）。把這個數字當成是網頁輸入你的Browser，一按那個hotel的sign in網頁就出來了。

就這樣，自己給自己當了回挨踢，記下來，分享一下，而且以後自己再遇到這種情況也可以參考這篇文章。沒想到，挨踢原來這麽簡單!
